Crafts, crafts, and miscellaneous projects

As I mentioned in my last post, I have been working on multiple projects recently (when am I not, right?). I thought I'd give you sneak peek of what I've been up to. First...I'm finally redoing the tiny room that was initially going to be my office. It's now going to be a 2nd guest bedroom. I have been putting this off for months. Sorting through boxes of paperwork and materials from my student teaching is really time consuming and no fun. Here's what part of the room looked like this morning:

Can I get a YIKES?!  A few weeks ago my mom and I moved a vintage vanity up to the room and this morning I finally pulled out the old corner desk and moved it to the garage. It's going on CL manana.  I'll have a whole post on the ex-office redesign soon.

Anyway, as a result of all this craft and project insanity, the office part of my bedroom is currently a total disaster:
(I apologize for the dark pictures, they were taken at night and the battery on my phone was low so no flash.)

Those black frames on the right side have been sitting there for about a month.  I will be redoing a wall in my bedroom later this week and they are gonna be part of the redesign.

While I was taking pictures of my current projects, I realized I'd never shown y'all my craft box.  It's where I keep the majority of my materials (yarn, glue gun, felt, wood letters, scrap book paper, etc...)  I got it at Home Goods a few months ago and I love it!

Here's a peek of the inside.  It's a beautiful turquoise color:

Ok, enough stalling, here is a small sample of what I'm working on:

Coasters made from ceramic tiles, scrapbook paper, and photos:

A Fall wreath made from yarn, felt, and wooden letters:

A Spring wreath for my mother:

Paper flowers with lemons for the laundry room:

Paper flower arrangement for my bedroom:

So there you have it.  I'm working on a lot of other stuff but this post is long enough already :)  All of these projects will have tutorials for those of you who may be interested in making your own at home (that's if mine actually work out!).

Now you see why this blog is called chaos in my casa?
