Sneak Peek 2

Well my friends, I have been a busy little bee but I finally have a moment at almost 2 am to type up a quick blog with a new sneak peek into what I've been up to the past 2 days.  Has it really only been 2 days?  YEESH!

  I was feeling a little discouraged because I have been working my tail off at home trying to prepare the house for some house guests this weekend and progress has been soooo slow!  Then I thought back to everything I've gotten done and realized that I have been making progress, it just isn't always obvious.  Despite everything that's been going on, I have tons of ideas and projects to blog about.  I just need to sit down and type everything out.  Here's what's been going on in my casa:

Work began on decluttering, organizing, and painting the ex-office:

Rehabbing (is that even a word?) the old, broken bookcase that I decided not to throw out:

and oh so much more!  Can you believe that's just in the past 48 hrs?  Insane, I know!  The chaos in my casa couldn't be any worse at the moment, but hopefully it'll all calm down by this weekend.  Oh and my house is a disaster due to all the stuff I've been working on.  Sometimes you have to break things down and make a mess to build them back up....at least that's what I've been saying to myself to make me feel better about our house's current state :)
